ClipKaroo Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Creator", or "you") and ClipKaroo ("we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of https://clipkaroo.com, our dashboard, and associated webhook integrations.

By signing in via Google, authorizing our YouTube Data API integration, or executing ClipKaroo webhook commands via chat bots, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of the Service

ClipKaroo provides highlight bookmarking and cataloging infrastructure for YouTube live stream broadcasters:

• Chat Webhook Processing: Interfacing with chat bots (including Nightbot) to receive viewer commands during live streams.
• VOD Offset Calculation: Computing exact seconds elapsed since stream commencement using YouTube Live API data.
• Showcase & Playback: Organizing clips into responsive public galleries hosted at /c/[slug] and dispatching notification embeds via Discord webhooks.

3. Intellectual Property & YouTube Content Rights

ClipKaroo respects creator copyright and ownership:

• Creator Ownership: Creators retain 100% ownership and intellectual property rights in and to their YouTube videos, stream broadcasts, audio, and visual assets. ClipKaroo acts strictly as a metadata index and does NOT claim any copyright or ownership over your content.
• Platform License: You grant ClipKaroo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license solely to display your public channel title, thumbnail, and public YouTube embeds as necessary to operate your public gallery.
• YouTube Terms of Service: Users agree to comply with YouTube's Terms of Service at https://www.youtube.com/t/terms.

4. Channel Secret Tokens & Account Security

Upon connecting your YouTube channel, ClipKaroo issues a unique channel secret token incorporated into your Nightbot command URL.

• You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your secret webhook token.
• Do not reveal or display your secret webhook URL publicly on your stream screen.
• If your token is compromised, you must immediately regenerate it via your ClipKaroo Settings dashboard.

5. Acceptable Use & Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited behaviors:

• Spamming, flooding, or launching denial-of-service attacks against ClipKaroo webhook endpoints.
• Circumventing plan quotas, clip duration caps, or account limits.
• Attempting to access unauthorized accounts, databases, or administrative interfaces.
• Using ClipKaroo to bookmark or distribute content that violates applicable laws or YouTube Community Guidelines.

6. Subscription Billing, Upgrades & Cancellations

ClipKaroo offers Free, Pro, and Studio subscription tiers processed via Razorpay:

• Recurring Billing: Paid subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly or annual billing cycle until cancelled.
• Cancellations: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period.
• Refunds: We provide full refunds within 7 days of initial subscription purchase if you encounter technical incompatibilities that our support team cannot resolve. Contact support@clipkaroo.com for review.

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

ClipKaroo is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime, 100% accuracy of third-party API timestamps, or retention of data in the event of upstream YouTube API downtime or policy shifts.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ClipKaroo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from lost stream highlights, service interruptions, or third-party platform actions.
